dharmalogos Erik Satie's music is like drinking a hot tea before working in the garden on a mild, sunny day. Christophe Petchanatz's version is not like that. This music is dissonant, off-balance, slightly creepy, slightly disturbing. It's like a dream. Not a nightmare, but a dream strange enough that nothing feels real. Definitely not "furniture music," this is music that demands to be noticed even while it plays in the background. Highly recommended.

oooooooooooooo In my opinion it has little common with the original. And in a good way. Instead of melancholic background mood of classical Satie works now there is a rift to a different dimension. Strange unusual atmosphere and very visual album. Reminds me the etudes of Ivan Wyschnegradsky.
