about

This is not a duet but this piece owes everything to confinement : as it was not possible to use my « acoustic » studio, I immersed myself in the exploration and use of VSTi (virtual musical instruments).
Having no knowledge about MAO and equipped with a very old PC with saturated hard disks, headphones and a two-octave MIDI keyboard, I tinkered shamelessly.
No multitracking but rather a kind of copy-paste without possibility of going back if remorse, by using old and sometimes unstable software.
Lots of constraints, therefore.
For various reasons, during the hours of development and assembly of this piece, I thought, of David Fenech, Julien Thomas and Sébastien Morlighem.
I also thought of Ummagumma (studio part).
As for Roger Helfers, tireless supplier of vintage and exotic VSTi, let him be thanked a thousand times.
No real musical instrument was abused during the composition of this piece.
